Considering a doula?
Unfortunately, many women in America do not grow up surrounded by birth. We often see birth as something that belongs primarily to the medical profession, rather than a sacred experience that belongs to the pregnant woman and her family. It is my heart to help you feel rooted in your God-given ability to flourish through pregnancy, birth, and raising a child. Instead of feeling like all the answers live on the internet, I want you to feel confident in your own mind, body, and spirit. Let's do this!
I believe that birth was created to transform women. No matter how we give birth, we leave changed forever. Women were entrusted with the honor of bringing life into the world, and as a doula, I want each person I work with to feel empowered by this. In a world where birth is often portrayed as scary, painful, and out of control, it is my privilege to show women that this doesn’t have to be the full story. Women have been giving birth all around the world for generations and generations, with and without medical care. As a pregnant woman, you join the community of every single birthing mama that came before you—it is a beautiful honor.
